Frequently Asked Questions DOEN'ers

General

You can download the app from the Google Play store or Apple Store. Search for DOEN Hospitality.

With our revamped app, it's even easier to work at your favorite locations.
You can rate the employer, and he can rate you. Are you happy with each other? Then it's a match! You now belong to this employer's Fanbase. What's in it for you? You will be paid at least €1.00 per hour extra!

You enter a Fanbase with your favorite principals when there is a "Match. A match occurs when you have liked a client. This client receives a notification of this. If he finds your profile interesting and also likes you, a match is created. Now you are in the Fanbase!

In total, you can get into a Fanbase in 4 ways: 

1) You can apply yourself to a client and they accept it.

2) You have already worked for a client in the past and a match occurred there (then you already start in the fan base), 

3) You are introduced to a client by DOEN and it is accepted, 

4) You worked for a client and you both gave each other positive reviews.

Work at your favorite client

You can mark an employer as "favorite" when you unsubscribe from a service. You will then receive a notification when this employer creates a new shift, so you will be the first to know! If you click on "calendar"
in the app, you will see an overview of work requests from your favorite places.

Click "discover" to discover more favorite places!

If you have a match with an employer, you will enter its Fanbase. This Fanbase is divided into pools, such as "Saturday Night Tops" or "Raging Runners," for example. This way you end up in a pool exactly matching what you want!

 

In the app, go to "employers." Click on the employer where you will be working, then you will see more information here, such as the exact location and dress code, for example. Read this carefully so you show up at the workplace in the right attire. Want to look extra good? Then also take a look at the menu!

For the rest, the usual standards of decency apply: arrive on time, be groomed and put your best foot forward!

After the service, you fill out an assessment about the client and the service. The client also fills out an assessment about you. Are you positive about each other? Then you have a match! You join the Fanbase (and/or pouls): you earn -at least- €1,00 per hour extra and are the first to know about new services at this employer. 

Fanbase and Services

To discover new services, go to "discover" at the bottom left of the app. Here you will see all available services. By clicking on "filter," you can filter the results by the region where you live, or the type of service you want to work.

At the bottom of the app, click on "Employers." Here you can view all affiliated employers. Click on an employer to view details and pools. Do you like what you see? Then subscribe to this pool, and the employer will receive a notification that you would like to work for them.

 

Want to be notified when a client changes, adds or cancels a service? Then go to "more" at the bottom right of the app and scroll down to "notifications." Here you set exactly what notifications you want to receive and from which client or pool. 

You can mark an employer as "favorite" when you unsubscribe from a service. You will then receive a notification when this employer creates a new shift, so you will be the first to know! If you click on "calendar" in the app, you will see an overview of work requests from your favorite places.

Are you no longer happy somewhere? That's too bad! You can of course leave the Fanbase and poules whenever you want. In the app, go to "Poules", select the pool you want to leave and click on "leave pool".  

More Salary

You can earn more in two ways! First, by joining a client's Fanbase: then you automatically earn €1 more per hour.

In addition, you can see "my Trophies" in your profile. These are badges, which you can earn by working as a bartender more often, for example. The more trophies, the higher your salary!

 

Every trophy you earn gets you more pay! Did you achieve a good rating at the end of the shift? Then you earn a point. The more points you rake in, the more trophies. And the more trophies, the higher your salary becomes!

 

Quite simply, by working well and keeping yourself to agreements. Are you neatly on time and in the right work clothes? Do you perform your tasks neatly and, together with the team, make sure the guests are happy? Then you can count on a good evaluation!

 

Did you achieve a good rating at the end of the service? Then you earn a point. The more points you rake in, the more trophies. And the more trophies, the higher your salary becomes!

Administration

If you want to change your personal information or profile picture, click on your profile picture in the upper right corner of the app. Here is an overview of your achieved trophies, the number of shifts you have worked and your other data.

 

Having a good overview of your finances is important! At the bottom right of the app, click on "more" and then on "pay slips" to see your pay slips. Here you will also find your annual statements.

 
 

You can sign out in the app up to three hours after your shift. Under calendar, click on "finished your shift". Here you enter your worked hours and breaks. Then you can review the shift and, if you want, add this client to your favorites. Click "next" and give your phone to the supervisor. He, in turn, will then fill out a rating on you!

 
 

Working becomes even more fun when you work with your favorite colleagues, right? Invite them via your calendar. Select the shift for which you want to invite your buddy. At the top you will see a button with "Share this shift with a DOENer".

Use the DOEN Dashboard anywhere? You can! Download the app from the Playstore or Appstore. Search for "DOEN Hospitality." 

 
 

With the DOEN app, you build a loyal Fanbase! These are motivated DOENers who really suit your catering establishment. You simply create services and invite employees. In the DOENer's profile you can see their ratings and experience. This way you always have the right people on the floor!

 

Fanbase

Motivated and enthusiastic staff? That's what we all want! Better yet: with us, you get them too! Through our careful selection process, we identify the needs, intrinsic motivation and ambitions of the DOENer. Is this a match with your hospitality business? Then we introduce them to your Fanbase. You are of course free to accept or refuse someone.

We pay the DOENer an extra €1.00 per hour; fair's fair: that motivates too. So our DOENers work at a place they like and you have staff who enjoy themselves. Win-win!

 

Your Fanbase is composed of motivated, enthusiastic DOENers who really want to work in your opportunity. You can divide the Fanbase into various pools, such as "Kitchen Heroes" or "Saturday Night Tops". This way, you can ask for targeted staff and determine the remuneration for each pool.

 
 

Within your FanBase of loyal and motivated DOENers, you can create subpools. Click on "menu" and then on "DOENers." You will see an overview of your existing poules. Click on " new poule" to create a new poule, for example "Raging Runners" or " Saturday night toppers". You can then invite DOENers into your poule, determine what rewards will be offered in return for these services, and see at a glance what percentage of applications have been filled.

Click on "menu" and then on "DOENers". Here you will see an overview with of all your poules. Click on a pool to see who all is in your pool. Next to this overview you will see a tab with "Applicants". Here you can accept or reject new DOENers. 

 
 

Click on "menu" and then on "planning". Here you will see an overview of all the services you have created. If you click on a service, you will see an overview of all the details. To the right is a tab with "service updates" and you will see an overview of which DOENers will be working for you and who has signed up. You can accept the DOENers here or, if they do not have the right profile or experience, reject them.

 
 
 

Has a DOENer not been working properly? That is almost impossible! In the unlikely event that this does happen, you are of course always able to remove someone from your pool. Go to "menu" and then to "DOENers" to see an overview of all your poules. Click on the pool from which you want to remove the DOENer and click on the trash can next to the DOENer's name.

 
 
 

Planning and Roster

Go to "menu and then "schedule". Click on "Create new event." Here you can enter the details of your service, such as the time, dress code and exact location.

 

Go to "menu and then "schedule." Click on the service you want to delete. At the top you will see a trash can, click on this to cancel the service. 

 
 

A DOENer applies to your service, of which you receive a notification, after which you can accept it.

 

Go to "menu and then "scheduling." Click on the service for which you want to invite DOENers and then "invite DOENers."

 

Is business going well? And can you expand? That's great! Click on "menu" and then "account and business settings." Click on the plus next to "my locations" and add the details of your business.

Administration

Click on "menu" and then "timesheets". Here is an overview of your digital timesheets. Click on "download" to view specifications. 

 
 

This is annoying. If something is wrong, please contact our administration at 06 28 61 21 74.

 
 

If you want to change your data, click on "menu" and then on " account-and-business-settings". Here you can make address changes, or changes in dress code, for example. company settings - click on the area you want to modify.

 
 

Is business going well? And are you expanding with a new location? That's great! Click on "menu" and then "account and business settings." Click on the plus next to "my locations" and add the details of your business.
